I want two things in life a woman and a child.
When I walk into the diner and see Rosie, I think my motherf*cking dreams have come true.
We share one stolen afternoon, but then she’s gone.
Eight months later she shows up at my cabin.
Her belly swollen, her breasts full, and with the face of an angel.
Still, she wants to keep on running.
No way in hell am I letting her go.
It’s not just Rosie that needs my protection––our babies do too.

Darling You,

BUCKED is a stand alone story that is packed with true love and a man who knows what he wants his woman. He fights for her like a real mountain man knows how to do! I hope you love it to pieces––I had so much fun working on it with you in mind! Also, if you loved TIMBER, Jax and Harper (and their babies!) are in Buck and Rosie’s story too!

xo, frankie

BUCKED The Mountain Man Babies edition by Frankie Love Romance eBooks

First of all, I thought the story had promise, but everything happened too fast for me to actually enjoy it. I was actually surprised when it ended ... like, that was the end? The time skipping made it seem even shorter. I think I read this book in under an hour. Also, the writing was decent but it was kind of corny in places. I thought Buck was sweet, but I don't think having sex in a public bathroom is really sexy. As for Rosie, she was okay - not the brightest, but okay. SPOILERS!!

I don't know about you, but if I found out my uncle (or anyone) wanted to sell my unborn babies, I'd be running out of there as fast as I could. Instead, our heroine waited about 4 months ... why? It wasn't like she couldn't run away because clearly, she did - twice. Why she waits 4 months to put her babies and herself out of harm's way is puzzling. It would have made more sense if she had ran away the next day or week and then the H and h could spend some time actually getting to know each other before the babies are born. Also, I don't know how it works with the mob, but it's hard for me to believe that the uncle would just leave them alone after the H shot him in the leg. From what I read, it seemed like he and his goons ran out of there after they heard the sirens. And that's how the story ends. If I were a mobster and this girl really pissed me off, I'd come back with even more men and raze that mountain to the ground - or at least tried to. I was just so surprised and unsatisfied with how it ended. I want to try some of her other series, but not going to continue with this one.

BUCKED The Mountain Man Babies edition by Frankie Love Romance eBooks Reviews

I love insta-love, insta-lust, mountain-man-and-his-virgin, marry-me-and-have-my-babies-as-soon-as-possible romance - romance that Frankie Love writes; but this one just wasn't as good as I expected. It was all too brief; I expected a bit of more interaction between hero and heroine. But still, Buck is one really fine mountain man hero! Brief read recommended to Mountain-man romance enthusiasts.
I didn't have a lot of expectations with Buck after reading Timber, andbhis disparaging comments about him. Actually the two stories don't connect very well, did the author forget what wad already written? He worked as a store keeper & mail clerk in Timber. Here he is an artist carving with a chainsaw, no mention of the store. Because ofbthe inconsistencies, I marked the story lower.

The ending was rushed with no clear resolution to Rosie's uncles situation.
Loved Buck and Rosie. Buck is a chainsaw artist who grew up on the mountain. Rosie is a 21 year old on the run from her Russian mobster uncle who wants to sell her virginity to the highest bidder.
When Rosie and Buck meet, he had found the women for him and Rosie a man to protect and treat her with respect. Her uncles men have found her and she fears for Buck and his families safety, so she gives herself up. When she learns she is pregnant, she runs back to Buck. Buck with the help of his friends Jax and Harper, from Timber, protect Rosie and his baby girls.
Loved this short story. Loved seeing. Jax and Harper again. They have really grown up since their boys were born.

This is a short, insta-love, full of action book with a touch of Russian mafia. I read in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. I loved Buck simply because he was protective and loved fiercely. I loved Rosie for her strength and determination to protect everyone she loves.
What I didn't like - Buck had a one night stand and liked to pick up women at bars in the last book, so it was hard to not remember this as I read it. I just feel like innocent Rosie deserves better than a guy like that. There were some typos and errors.

What I liked - Buck wasn't a jerk or with anyone else or thinking about other women or giving details of past partners or encounters. Rosie was sweet and adorable. They were each protective of the other in different ways. The friendships were strong, and I love the makeshift family that is developing on the mountain.

Overall - Sweet and cute instalove that is totally safe and would be better if I wasn't haunted by the previous book.
The book starts out with Buck the mountain man who is envious of his friend who is married with 3 kids. All he wants is a good woman and a kid of his own. Then one day he walks into his mother's diner and finds the new girl Rosie there and he cant take his eyes off of her.
Rosie is on the run from her uncle who runs the Russian mob. He wants to sell her for her virginity to the highest bidder. However as luck would have it her uncle's men find her and Buck stands up to them. Rosie doesnt want Buck to get in trouble so she sneaks out and goes back with her uncles men but not before sleeping with Buck.
She never tells her uncle about losing her virginity but when she becomes pregnant he gets upset and then takes her to the dr. The doctor says she is having twins and Rosie thought she could live free but her uncle has another plan. He plans to sell her twins.
Rosie cant let that happen so she runs back to the one kind man she has ever known. Will Buck take her back after 8 months and will Rosie be able to escape her uncle. Read and find out.
This was an entertaining, enjoyable book. Rosie and Buck have an undeniable attraction from the moment they meet. Rosie is determined to give Buck what she believes is the only thing of value she has. Her virginity. She is being chased by her uncles gang the Russian Mafia. This was a very enjoyable book. I will definitely read the others in this series. I love that it interacts with the other books, but is a stand alone book!
